Avery has felt the effects of last week's chemo for the majority of the past week. She vomited the first 5 days despite the scheduled Zofran. She has been having bad stomach cramps which come and go all day long. Her energy levels have been down, and you can tell she just felt bad all the way around. She has started to perk up some, so we are hoping to be turning the corner.
She had a good clinic visit today. She received her monthly Pentamidine and had labs run. Her hemoglobin had risen. Her her platelets had slightly dropped to 85, and her ANC had dropped to 1200. These are all good numbers(especially for Avery) for a week after chemo. Pending no surprises, she should be able to receive all 3 chemos next week as planned. The team has also put a plan to in place with a new anti-nausea medicine(IV) and a mini round of steroids to try and combat the nausea and vomiting as we are expecting it to be worse with next week's round.
We were so excited to welcome a new addition to our family last week! Rosie, an 8 week old Bernedoodle, joined us from Dallas, TX. Things fell into place so quickly and perfectly that we just know she was meant for our family. Avery is in love!

Please continue to pray for:
- No more nausea or vomiting
- Relief from stomach cramps
- Continued count recovery
- Protection from illness and infections
