Saturday, November 23rd
Avery had a tough night in regards to rest. She cried out a lot and seemed to be having bad dreams. She woke up every time they came in for vitals. She spiked a temp of 100.6 early this morning.
Her platelets and magnesium were both low this morning. She received a platelet transfusion and another mag bolus. We continue to wean her off of the morphine changing to every 6 hours today. Her ANC dropped back down to zero.
She was especially quiet and reserved today. She watched videos for most of the day and spoke very little. She has remained fever free since around 4am. She only vomited once today. She has broken out in a cold sweat various times today which has resulted in her refusing to wear a shirt.
She finally fell asleep around 5pm and has been sleeping on and off since. When she wakes she is very agitated and seems to feel pretty bad. We are hoping for a more restful night and to see some improvement in how she feels tomorrow.
Please continue to pray for:
- No more fever
- ANC to rise
- Rest
- More playful and happy day tomorrow
You have such a precious girl! A determined fighter! We are praying for yall in our small groups. I pray she has a perfect night with no problems!
Father God, your little lamb, Avery, needs relief from all these horrible side effects. We pray for no fever or sweats, rest, ANC to rise, and for Avery's cheerful side to come out today. You know every need, Lord, please fill it for Avery and Lori Beth today. In Jesus name we pray!!!!
