Saturday, November 30th
Avery continues to improve daily. She still remains fever free. Her electrolyte levels are holding steady. She didn’t need a blood transfusion, but she did require a platelet transfusion. Her ANC has risen to 390.
She spent the day playing with me and her Daddy, napping, and watching the iPad(and some of the Iron Bowl). Her energy levels are still lower than normal which is to be expected.
We are still planning to try for pheresis(stem cell collection) Monday or Tuesday. We will hopefully learn more about the timing of her MRIs next week. The MRIs must be done within 21 days of starting her next treatment so it is very important to time them closer to when we expect her to recover on her own in order to avoid having to repeat the scans. Her counts are rising now due to her nightly injections, but in order to start another round of chemo she must maintain those counts on her own(without the help of meds).

- ANC to continue to rise
- Successful stem cell collection
- No new complications or illnesses
