Sunday, September 13th
Avery's long nap yesterday made it difficult for her to fall asleep last night. She finally fell asleep around midnight. Her pain seemed to be under control, and no additional meds were needed for break through pain.
Her hemoglobin and platelets all looked good today, so she didn't need any transfusions. Her ANC is currently 50.
The only real change today was to change her scheduled pain meds from every 3 hours to every 4 hours. This seemed to do well to control her pain during the day, but she has seemed to be in a little more pain tonight.
She enjoyed spending most of the day with her Daddy. She had a better day than yesterday, but we are impatiently waiting for her to be pain free and back to enjoying the fun things she likes to do in the hospital. She was able to enjoy making a batch of slime this afternoon before the pain started bothering her. She has still not gotten out of bed.

Please continue to pray for:
- Pain management
- ANC to rise
- No illness or infection
- Rest
Love that smile, may Tuesday bring a great blessing when Avery asks mom to help her get up. Slime and drawing are two good things to do on a Monday. Love and prayers
Avery continues to flash her beautiful smile. Continuing to pray for her and the family!
God bless this child and her strong family. Our prayers are with you. So glad she had a better day and thankful for the doctors and nurses who care for her as well.
Thankful the pain is getting under control. Praying for continued progress in her recovery so your little warrior's body can fight its way back to strength needed and your family can be together at home.
Lord, such a sweet smile on this brave little warrior is such a joy to see. We thank you that she had a better day. We ask for pain free days and nights so Avery and Mom can get some much needed sleep. Lord, we thank you that ANC continues to rise and we ask for no more infection and that the antibiotics takes care of any left in Avery. Thank you for your love , your grace and your mercy. We love you, Lord, and we ask for complete healing for Avery. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
