Saturday, September 19th
Avery had a much better night last night. She received one dose of pain medicine overnight, but didn't need another one for almost 12 hours. She slept soundly and was ready to start the day by 7 this morning.
She did better than expected getting her g-tube stitches removed. She is still sore, but it is getting a little better each day. She has still not wanted to get up or put clothes on, but she knows that she will be forced to do both tomorrow in order to go home.
All of her numbers were good, so there were no changes or additions to her care plan today. She was able to start back on her feeds, and she will be back to her goal rate overnight. She has tolerated them really well so far.
We are still on track to go home tomorrow pending no new issues. She is excited to see her sisters, sleep in her own bed, and get a nice long bath!

Please continue to pray for:
- Going home tomorrow
- Continued pain management
- No delays in beginning Cycle 2
- Protection from germs and illness
This is the answer to prayers, and the best news in many days! God is so good!
Continued prayers and enjoy home while you are there!
