Avery had a better night but was still pretty restless during vitals. She required blood and platelet transfusions this morning, so we had lots of extra vitals from 5am to about 6:30am which further interrupted her sleep. Her ANC had dropped to just over 1200 today. There were no real changes in anything treatment related today.
She had an overall good day. She spent all morning playing with Shon and all afternoon playing with me. She finally wore down about 6:30pm and took a nap . I had to wake her for bath time right before 9pm.
Her central line dressing needed to be replaced tonight as it was coming up and would allow her line site to be exposed. She did slightly better and only took 2 of us to hold her while the nurse cleaned and applied the new dressing. We secured it extra well with a good border around the Mepilex(foam like dressing used in wound care). Her skin under the dressing still burns when it is cleaned, but it looks much better than it has the past few dressing changes. Hopefully this one will last us the full 7 days.
Since we will not be going home early to mid next week as we originally thought, they believe they will be able to schedule her MRI while we are still here this stay. This will save us from having to be temporarily admitted overnight in the next few weeks for the scans. As long as these scans and LP are clear, we will move to scans every 3 months.

Please continue to pray for:
- No more vomiting
- Tolerate nutrition and medicines
- No new complications
- Rest
Thoughts and prayers for Avery and family.
