There are no real changes to report today. Avery's ANC got a big boost from the medicine yesterday and was 8540 this morning. Her platelets had dropped some, but she didn't require any transfusions.
She tolerated the feeds yesterday and last night , so we increased to 20mL this morning. She has tolerated that rate as well so we plan to bump it to 25mL overnight. They are slowly changing her meds back over to by mouth/tube one at a time. They changed her Acyclovir over today.
Avery is not normally a shy child, but she is very picky with whom and when she interacts(I wonder where she gets that from). She typically turns away all volunteers, PT and OT. She won't even acknowledge the Drs and part of the staff here. There are people that have literally never heard her speak. And the harder they try, the more she resists. But there are a few(and I mean very few) that Avery will be Avery around. This afternoon Ms. Lindsey(our Child Life specialist) stopped by. She and Avery played and laughed...it was probably the best mood Avery has been in since we arrived. We are so thankful for the wonderful people who work here and make Avery feel comfortable enough to be herself!

Please continue to pray for:
- Tolerate nutrition and medicines
- Clean scans
- Rest

Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow! So happy to hear Avery had a good night last night and a good day today. My day is not complete until I get the latest post to check on this brave little girl. I continue to pray, believing for a miracle of complete healing for Avery. God bless you and your sweet family!
