Saturday, February 22nd
Avery had a decent night last night. She woke up a couple of times with stomach pain, but we paused her feeds and that seemed to settle it.
Her ANC was 850 this morning so she required a dose of Neupogen. Her other counts were good, so no transfusions were needed.
We increased her feeds to 40mL/hr around noon today. She continues to tolerate them well. We will increase to 45mL at midnight.
Avery was disappointed this morning when she woke up and learned that we hadn't given her morning meds while she was asleep. We decided to try a different approach today where I would give her the meds. She objected a little on the the first one, but she pushed the 2nd and 3rd (plus the flush) by herself. It went much smoother than normal, so we will try this method again tomorrow. Luckily we were able to sneak in her 2nd doses once she fell asleep tonight.
She had her last(hopefully) central line dressing change today. I wasn't there for it, but Shon said she did better than usual. There was still crying and screaming, but she held relatively still. Luckily her skin around the dressing has healed nicely so she didn't require the Mepilex foam dressing anymore.
She had a big day of playing and managed to get in a good afternoon nap. She continues to do well with mouth care, vitals, and daily baths. She is counting the days until we go home(hopefully 3)!

Please continue to pray for:
- Tolerate nutrition and medicines
- Clean scans
- Rest
