Avery has enjoyed being at home the past few days. She still tires very easily, but we know that will improve with time. Her only issue has been some vomiting. She has delayed gastric emptying which is causing her to vomit first thing every morning. This is a known side effect from transplant, and we hope it will resolve soon. The good news is that her NG tube is still staying put which is all we can ask for right now.
Today, she had her first BMT Outpatient clinic. She handled her port access about as well as can be expected for her. Her platelet count was 80, and her ANC was 1430. Surprisingly, she didn't require any transfusions, medicines, or electrolyte supplements. Since her numbers were good, we don't have to go back to clinic until Thursday. If she continues to recover well, we will hopefully move to weekly clinic visits and then be released back to our Neuro-oncology team in the semi-near future.

Please continue to pray for:
- Protection from germs and illness
- Rest
- Continued healing
So glad she is doing well! Enjoy this time a time home and try to get some rest! 💗💗💗💗
